AntiiQ Privacy Policy
The AntiiQ family is built around local music. Its players are designed to work without accounts, advertising profiles, or behavioural surveillance.

The short version
AntiiQ does not collect, store or share personal data. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no servers. Everything AntiiQ knows about your music stays on your devices.
What the app processes
An AntiiQ player reads the audio files and folders you choose, and their metadata, so it can present your library, playback queue, playlists, favourites, history, widgets and playback views. Your files are not copied, uploaded or modified.
What stays on your device
Library indexes, metadata, artwork caches, playback history, favourites, playlists, Companion suggestions, scheduled playlists, effect settings and diagnostics are stored only on your device.
Nearby Devices (local network)
AntiiQ can connect your own devices running AntiiQ on the same Wi-Fi or local network, to share music and control playback. This is why it asks for local network permission. Devices find each other only on your local network; nothing passes through the internet or any Artatura Labs server. Nothing is shared until you approve a device, and you choose what each device may browse, play, download or control. Connections are encrypted and each device proves its identity with its own key.
Purchases
On iPhone, iPad and Mac, AntiiQ Pro is an optional in-app purchase handled entirely by the App Store. AntiiQ only checks, on your device, whether the purchase exists. We never see your payment details or your Apple Account.
Network use
AntiiQ uses the network only for Nearby Devices on your local network, for App Store purchase checks handled by Apple, and to open links you tap, such as this page. It makes no other internet requests. If a future release adds an online service, this policy will be updated first.
Permissions
Depending on platform, AntiiQ may ask for access to your music or chosen folders, local network, notifications (for scheduled Companion sessions, created on your device), background audio and widgets. Each permission is used only for that player function.
Third-party components
AntiiQ editions use open-source components including FFmpeg and SoundTouch. They run on your device and send nothing anywhere. Licensing and source information is on the open-source page.
Children's privacy
AntiiQ collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
